Dr. Bahe's Professional Bio


Dr. Serena Bahe is an educator, writer, editor, and consultant -- a teacher at heart.

She has education, training and experience in several writing specific areas, including English language arts & reading curriculum and instruction, website SEO content writing, web copywriting (landing pages/static pages), ghostwriting and editing books and papers, academic writing, and direct response copywriting. She also has experience in research methods, global culture, international education, multicultural relations, entrepreneurship, organizational leadership, and community collaboration. 

Dr. Bahe has worked in and studied the education industry for nearly two decades. She has taught English or English related courses at both private and public K-12 schools and universities, as well as through adult writing workshops and consulting for private businesses and individuals.

She also served as a two-year AmeriCorps (Promise Fellow) service volunteer, assisting with the implementation of school readiness programs in a low socio-economic area and created the first website for Success By 6 (a United Way initiative) in Pensacola, Florida in 2001-2002.

Dr. Bahe earned a Bachelor of Liberal Studies (English and music), a Master of Education in English language arts (curriculum and instruction), and a PhD in education (international education and entrepreneurship).

She also completed several copywriting training programs, including American Writer's & Artists' (AWAI) 2-year Circle of Success copywriting program, AWAI's Accelerated Program for Six-Figure Copywriting, AWAI's Master's Program for Six-Figure Copywriting, and several other home study copywriting and writing related programs, as well as attends AWAI's annual Copywriting Bootcamp and Web Copywriting Intensive training events. She is also a verified writer with American Writer's & Artists. 

Additionally, Dr. Bahe speaks conversational German and has lived abroad. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, traveling, learning new languages, studying culture, and participating in outdoor activities, including hiking, running, and tennis--and most of all, spending time with her family.
